The Medical Humanities Program will award up to $200 in funding for undergraduate students engaging in medical humanities research or attending medical humanities conferences. Clubs may request funding for academic events (i.e. speakers or relevant field trips) open to Rice students. Requests will be considered at the beginning and end of each semester. Funding will not be awarded for books or equipment available on campus. Please note that funds are limited and not all requests will be awarded.
Eligibility: Students must meet one of the following criteria:
- have declared the medical humanities minor; OR
- be requesting funds related to research completed in an MDHM course or course that counts as an elective for the minor (see the General Announcements for relevant courses); OR
- serve as an officer of the Medical Humanities Club or a club related to the medical humanities
