The Rice Medical Humanities Program partnered with Oshman Engineering Design Kitchen (OEDK) at Rice and the Texas Children's Hospital to offer a six-week summer medical problem-solving program in 2020.

Program Structure
► 6 weeks, from June 15-July 24, 2020
► 25 hours/week
► Immersion in pediatric general and cardiac intensive care at TCH
► Didactic physiology, disease, biomedical device lectures by TCH and Rice faculty
► Course credit options may be available, to be determined by major/minor advisor
► No cost, unpaid

Who Should Apply?
► Incoming juniors/seniors
► Biomedical, engineering, data science, medical humanities students
PLUSES: Completed ENGL 120 or Medical Humanities Program participant
